IN MEMORY OF LAURA WOLF

June 16, 1987 - December 28, 2004

Laura Wolf passed away today as a result of a tragic car accident.  Laura was a member of our Senior CoEd team and has been with our organization since it's very beginning.  Laura spent 3 years as a member of our Large Junior team (from CheerGym).  She was on the team that won our gym's very first National Title.  She spent her 10th and 11th grade years on our Large Senior team.  This year, her Senior year, she was a member of our Large CoEd team and just 3 weeks ago helped that team to earn it's first National title of this season.  Laura was a talented and hard-working girl who valued her friends and teammates.  She was a bright, young, caring girl with an entire life ahead of her.  At Merrimack High School, Laura was an honor roll student.  She cheered there  for 4 years on the Varsity fall team. 

Rob and Barbara Wolf, Laura's parents, are in our hearts and prayers.  They have been such an amazing part of our organization all of these years.  Rob is an orthopedic surgeon who has always taken care of our athletes whenever injuries have occurred.  Laura grew up in my gym and the Wolf's have always treated our athletes and Laura's friends as if they were their own.  They are the most selfless and supportive people I think I've ever met.  Laura was exactly like them - she was a genuine person with a heart of gold.  There is nothing that she wouldn't do to help a friend, a teammate, or a family member.  Words cannot express how much this young lady was loved and how much we will miss her.   Although Laura was taken from us prematurely, we know how important cheerleading was in her life.  We know that she will watch us, her teammates and her friends, from above.

Laura's funeral will be held on Monday, January 3rd at 3:00 at Our Lady of Mercy in Merrimack, NH.  The church is on Baboosic Lake Road directly in front of the middle school.  Colleen and I are asking that any Celebrity members who attend Laura's funeral, please wear our gym colors, black and blue, in memory of Laura. 

To Laura - you have been a wonderful part of our lives.  You will be in our thoughts and hearts forever & we are thankful to have known you and been a part of your life, even if too briefly.  WE LOVE YOU!!
